In the Krasnoyarsk region, a mission in Ukraine has been advertised in schools in recent days. At one of the educational institutions, such an advertising poster was even said to have appeared on the blackboard of a class:

Distraught parents reportedly sent footage to local journalists confirming the claim. The education department kept a low profile: “It is the city government’s job to inform citizens about the possibility of volunteering at the front. We would like to point out that posters may be hung in public places.” No complaints from parents have been received by the school management, the statement said.
Tuition fee exemption
Students of Irkutsk State University received messages saying: “Dear students of the Faculty of General Medicine […] There is now an opportunity to solve some of your problems – with your volunteer work in the ranks of the Russian Armed Forces at the Irkutsk Medical University.” Those interested have been given the prospect of “solving their financial problems.” After Upon completion of their efforts at the front, they would be exempt from paying tuition fees and any debts would be forgiven.

How hypocritical this emphasis on ‘voluntariness’ actually is is evident from the horror stories that regularly appear. In August, a series of police raids were carried out in Russia against newly naturalized Russians – especially those of military age. Violations of the law were constructed to force migrants into military service. The case of a Russian deaf man who was defrauded by officials also received a lot of attention.
