Late Wednesday afternoon, a serious traffic accident took place in Windpassing near Neustadtl an der Donau in the Amstetten district. A truck ended up on the roof of a farm. The driver suffered injuries.
According to the fire brigade, the truck was unloading lime around 5.35 pm when the serious accident occurred. The vehicle overturned and fell on the roof of a farm. The driver was trapped in the driver’s cabin and had to be freed by emergency services. He suffered injuries of unknown nature and was taken to hospital.
After first aid was provided to the injured person, the truck was rescued with a crane truck. Four fire brigades with approximately 60 emergency services were present.
