Filling an average 55 liter tank last week cost 96.3 euros for petrol vehicles and 92.8 euros for diesel vehicles.
Petrol fell by an average of ten euro cents per liter (0.51%) last week to 1.751 euros, marking the first fall in the past three months, according to the European Union’s weekly Petroleum Bulletin.
For its part, between September 25 and October 2, the price of diesel in Spain was sold at more than 11,400 Spanish gas stations at an average of 1,687 euros per liter, which represents an increase of 0.06% compared to the previous week, when already three consecutive months of price increases had occurred.
Over the past month, petrol has become more expensive by 1.16% and diesel by 4%, reaching prices not seen since July last year in the case of the former and since last winter in the case of the latter.
