Two young women from Graz wanted to do “super cool things” and attacked passersby with knives. An accidental victim barely survived. Now the two 18-year-olds are going to court.
It is unimaginable what agony a student from Graz experienced in Mondscheingasse in February 2022. Two women attacked him with knives for no reason – a random victim. The then 18-year-olds attacked him from the front and back. “He fought a frantic battle for survival on two fronts,” the indictment said.
13 bleeding wounds
The 23-year-old sustained 13 (!) gaping, heavily bleeding wounds. Eight in the back, two in the chest, two in the face and one in the jaw area. It is by chance that the man from Graz is still alive.
Shortly before this insane act, the two women had set fire to the communal toilet in the hallway of a distant friend who would not let them into the apartment. An acquaintance addressed the 18-year-olds, who happily giggled to themselves after the arson attack in the stairwell. Then one of the two took out a kitchen knife and said calmly and without emotion, “I’ll stab you!”
The man from Graz managed to repel the attack and barricaded himself in his friend’s apartment. If the knife had caught him, he probably would have been dead.
Third victim lured to the banks of the Mur with kisses
Hunting for their next victim, the 18-year-olds ran towards Mur. They wanted to experience something “super cool”. They bullied passers-by and threatened them. Finally, an Iraqi was targeted.
They lured the 17-year-old to the banks of the Mur with compliments. They flirted, tried to kiss him. Suddenly he felt something sharp penetrate his skull. They had stabbed him. He quickly ran away. That saved his life.
The process begins in early March. The women burden each other. The expert recommends a briefing because of the danger.
