There was another cow attack in Tyrol: On Wednesday, a 51-year-old woman was walking with her stray dogs in a cattle pasture in the Reutte district when they were suddenly overrun by several animals. The woman had to go to the hospital and the dogs to the vet.
Shortly before 6 p.m., the 51-year-old Austrian was walking with her two dogs on a young cattle pasture in Ehenbichl when one of the dogs was suddenly attacked by a cow. “The woman tried to push the cub away from her dogs, but was then attacked and injured by several cows,” police said.
Complaints against farmers
After initial care, the 51-year-old was taken to the hospital in Reutte and her two sweethearts also had to be treated by the doctor. The pasture is fenced and closed by a barrier, but is accessible to pedestrians and cyclists.
“After completion of the investigation, a report will be filed against the farmer with the Public Prosecution Service,” the council emphasizes.
