A court in Traunstein sentenced a false vaccination doctor to three years and ten months in prison on Thursday. “He is an impostor,” the presiding judge said of the man. His charges include commercial fraud, misuse of title, 305 counts of dangerous bodily harm and 1,144 counts of willful bodily harm.
The theologian had, among other things, administered and checked vaccinations against the coronavirus in vaccination centers in Upper Bavaria.
“Thank God you didn’t become a priest”
His life was shaped by “cheating and manipulation,” the judge continued. She called the accused “inhuman, inconsiderate, irresponsible, lack of empathy” and added: “Thank God you didn’t become a priest.”
The prosecutor had demanded five years in prison, the defense a suspended sentence.
“My values are the basis of my actions”
By the beginning of the trial in February, the suspect had largely admitted to the prosecution’s allegations. It was correct that he used a false doctorate degree, falsified a license to practice medicine and thus falsely administered a vaccine, he said through his lawyers. In his last word, he had said, “My character values are the foundation of my actions and actions.”
