In the fight against inflation and the growing hardship of many Austrians, actress Konstanze Breitebner calls for solidarity from the rich. Read here why times are not exactly rosy for artists and why she thinks certain decisions in the TV industry are “idiotic”.
Southern Burgenland has long since become a second home for Konstanze Breitebner (63). 17 years ago, the actress bought an arcade house there, part of which was 150 years old. While she commutes weekly between Vienna and the countryside, her husband, screenwriter Peter Mazzuchelli, rarely goes into the city anymore. In the meantime, her daughter Laura (33), who is an IT manager, and her Berlin partner have also discovered the charm of the Güssing region for themselves. Breitebner is very happy with this, because it allows her to spend even more time with her three-year-old granddaughter.
