Railway closed – hundreds celebrate illegally in Tyrolean gorge

Date:

It got hot on Sunday evening in the Sillschlucht near Innsbruck! Hundreds of partygoers celebrated a wild, illegal party with loud music, lights and various fire pits. On orders from the authorities, it was broken up by a large police force in the early morning hours. In the meantime, even the railway line that ran there had to be closed.

The Sillschlucht is not only a local recreational area in the greater Innsbruck area, but unfortunately also known in the wild party scene – especially on warm summer evenings. In the past, such illegal celebrations have often resulted in injuries, such as falling in the dark.

Sunday evening it became busy again in the gorge. In a forest in the municipality of Natters. “There were several hundred people on site. “Extremely loud music, lighting and several fire pits were part of the unauthorized event,” police said.

Railway closed for an hour and a half
On the orders of the responsible authority – in this case the mayor of the municipality of Natters – the illegal party was broken up around 3:30 am by several police patrols. “The event participants flowed in an orderly manner in two directions towards Natters and Innsbruck,” the researchers continued. For safety reasons, the railway line was closed there until 5 a.m.

The identification of those responsible went largely without problems. Around 5:30 am all the party animals had finally left and the equipment was dismantled. The alleged organizers were three Germans aged 19, 25 and 26. Follow associated ads.
