Michael-Peter Beer from Amstetten radically changed his life a few years ago – mentally and physically. Now he also helps other people to get a better body feeling and mindset.
“Perhaps there are few people who were as low as I was.” At the age of 32, Michael-Peter Beer has already been through a lot. At the age of 15, he became addicted to alcohol and drugs, and an endless negative spiral began. “I led an aimless and destructive life, an endless series of negative experiences that repeated and accumulated every day,” says Beer. He gave up one course after another. He experienced things that are normally only seen in movies. “Then something clicked and I realized: there is a better life!”, the young entrepreneur told the “Krone”.
Help for fellow human beings
He changed his life through regular exercise and a healthy diet. Ultimately, he also wanted to help other people improve their well-being – both psychologically and physically. To do this, he set up his own online coaching platform and over the past four years has helped more than 200 people not only improve their physical fitness, but also transform their mindset. And it’s all digital. “Physical health is closely linked to mental strength. Regular training not only increases physical fitness, but also increases resistance to stress and drastically improves self-confidence,” the 32-year-old emphasizes.
His next goal: to offer even more people better well-being. Through discipline and the right attitude, anyone can improve their life. He has already proven this year that the Amstettner resident does not lack discipline: in just 19 hours and 30 minutes he completed a 100 km march and his first Spartan race in Moorzine (24 km, 1900 m in less than four hours ). In a year, he wants to compete in Men’s Physique – an established bodybuilding class.
