The volunteer fire brigade of Eugendorf (Salzburg) was called to a vehicle fire late on Sunday evening. A car parked in a parking lot suddenly started burning. The fire spread to another car.
It happened quickly and completely unexpectedly. Suddenly the high-quality car was on fire in the parking lot in Eugendorf. A neighbor, a 59-year-old German, noticed the fire from the window of her apartment shortly after 11 p.m. on Sunday.
Cause still unclear
She called the police while a 53-year-old tried to put out the fire with six to seven fire extinguishers. In the meantime, the fire had also spread to the car parked next to it
The alerted volunteer fire brigade took over the extinguishing work of the car that was on fire and around 11.30 pm the fire brigade reported ‘fire out’. The cause of the fire has not yet been clarified. The police investigation is ongoing.
