The Lebanese Shiite group Hezbollah has claimed responsibility for today’s rocket launch against northern Israel and assured that the action caused “a large number of casualties” among Israeli forces.

According to the Lebanese National News Agency (ANN), ‘enemy drones have taken part in the response against the Lebanese southwest and have been confronted with machine guns, probably by members of Hezbollah. Likewise, Israeli forces have fired artillery at several points and “the use of the controversial phosphorus bombs has been rediscovered.”
Sources claim that Hezbollah launched guided missiles against northern Israel this morning, a move that caused “a large number of casualties” among Israeli forces. Palestinian militias present in Lebanon are also believed to have been involved in the clashes in recent days.
So far, the various incidents have led to the death of three Hezbollah members.
All this takes place in the context of the war that started last Saturday between Israel and the militias of the Gaza Strip.
