A seven-year-old girl was seriously injured in a traffic accident in Aschau in the Zillertal on Wednesday evening. He had driven into the street right in front of a car.
A 24-year-old Austrian drove his car from the south on the L300 in the municipality of Aschau on Wednesday around 5:30 p.m. At the same time, a seven-year-old girl wanted to cross the L300 on foot to get to the other side of the street.
The girl ran straight into the street
While the girl was crossing the street straight, she was hit head-on by the car driving out of the valley and thrown several meters across the street. The seven-year-old ended up in the opposite lane with serious injuries. After initial care was provided, the child was flown by rescue helicopter to the hospital in Innsbruck.
