“The story is almost unbelievable,” lawyer Mirsad Musliu told the “Krone”. Because it could have come straight out of a Hollywood script: In May 2023, a 31-year-old woman from Lower Austria was stabbed and her ex-boyfriend was arrested for it.
The victim became the perpetrator
Continuing investigation revealed that the victim was the actual perpetrator. And even more: she allegedly tried to poison Andreas F. as early as July 2022 – he went blind. Four months later, she slit his wrists and disguised it as a suicide attempt. The 41-year-old’s belongings were targeted.
The crime culminated in the knife attack. According to the prosecutor, the trained pastry chef did not just stage it. If you believe the suspect, a Turkish friend is behind the crime. He helped her plant false evidence at Andreas F.’s home and ultimately had the murder weapon.
The lawyer of the alleged accomplice, Musliu, is certain that the woman was further manipulated. His client only learned the background of the case through the media. The 31-year-old also told him something shocking: the knife cuts that she wanted to blame on Andreas F. were caused by her eleven-year-old daughter.
Suspected accomplice released
His client is being investigated for false statements and defamation – based on the suspect’s statements. That’s why he was released on Friday. According to the lawyer, the investigation into the incredible case is almost complete. The Lower Austrian will probably have to answer for attempted murder in the court in Korneuburg, among other things.
