A convicted murderer who has been free for several years stabbed an Austrian man several times in the back in Munich on Monday. However, the victim is now out of danger.
The suspected perpetrator (75) was arrested on Monday in the men’s dormitory in Munich where the bloody crime took place. Rescue workers took the seriously injured victim, from Austria, to hospital. According to the police, the man’s life was no longer in danger on Tuesday.
The suspect is a convicted murderer
The suspect is known to the police. The German was in prison for murder and was released a few years ago, a police spokesman said. It is still unclear why the elderly man attacked the other man, who also lived in the accommodation.
An argument reportedly preceded the attack. The 75-year-old is being investigated for attempted murder.
