Shortly after taking off from London, a plane lost several windows. It was initially unclear how this came about. The flight crew noticed “excessive cabin noise” and the pilot flew back just to be safe (see video above).
It was a charter flight from London to Orlando (US state of Florida). On October 4, 21 employees would be flown to their next assignment. After noticing ‘excessive cabin noise’, the pilot flew back to London just to be safe. No emergency was declared and the aircraft was successfully landed at Stansted.
Has already worked for the government
It was then discovered that three windows were missing. Three other windows were loose and the left vertical stabilizer was also damaged. It was initially unclear how the damage occurred. The French Aviation Accident Investigation Agency (BEA) called it a ‘serious incident’. The incident is still under investigation.
According to various portals, the affected Titan Airways aircraft is only two and a half years old and was still used as a VIP aircraft by the British government until the end of September.
