Concerns about Naples – “Supervolcano eruption very possible!”

Date:

The earthquakes in our southern neighbor Italy are becoming more frequent, with increasingly shorter intervals. Francesca Bianco, local volcano expert, no longer rules out the imminent eruption of the Vesuvius volcano in the Phlegraean Fields near Naples. The “Crown” contains the details of the possible inferno.

An underground danger looms in Italy: a supervolcano lies dormant in the Naples region and is now threatening to awaken. In September alone, the Phlegraean Fields caused hundreds of earthquakes, including one with a magnitude of 4.2 – the most powerful in 40 years. And residents are rightly angry because the activity in the fields raises the ground and causes long-term damage to buildings. The Italian government is already planning evacuation measures and building checks.
