Late, but the new infections in Austria have now been published. A total of 3,234 new corona cases have been reported in the past 24 hours (from 9.30 am on Friday). There are a total of 594 people in the normal wards of the hospitals. The number of patients in intensive care currently stands at a total of 55 patients.
So far there are 4,228,908 positive test results in Austria. As of today (May 20, 9.30am), 18,333 people with SARS-CoV-2 infection have died and 4,161,049 people have recovered across Austria. There are currently 649 in hospital with the corona virus. Of these, 55 are in intensive care.

- Lower Austria: 638
- Upper Austria: 529
- Styria: 384
- Salzburg: 209
- Carinthia: 173
- Tyrol: 158
- Burgenland: 105
- Vorarlberg: 77
