It has long been a highlight at international level.
I have played in the town hall eleven times. Even though there were many bitter defeats, I always look back on this tournament and the sensational atmosphere with great pleasure. My best experience was in 2001, when I reached the semi-finals for the only time and defeated my friend Roger Federer, who was still a young star at the time, in the quarter-finals. And even in those years, the town hall was nothing short of sensational.
