An autopsy has been ordered following the death of suspended Justice Ministry department head Christian Pilnacek. It is about clarifying the cause of death, Susanne Waidecker, chief prosecutor in Krems, said on Monday when asked.
She added that it would be a few weeks before an advisory would be available.
As reported, the 60-year-old’s body was found near Krems on Friday. The ex-section chief of the Justice Department had driven in the wrong direction and was stopped by the police.
The State Criminal Investigation Department of Lower Austria is investigating
Further circumstances of death are not yet known. On the police side, the Lower Austrian State Police took over the investigation.
