The serious accident happened around 12 noon. The 66-year-old was doing forestry work under the ruins of the Schintelburg. “He was trapped by a tree that slipped on the steep terrain,” police said.
Freed with a chainsaw
The colleagues came to the Tyrolean’s aid and were able to free him with the chainsaw. The “Heli 3” carried out the rope rescue in collaboration with the Kramsach mountain rescue service. After the first treatment, the 66-year-old was taken to the Kufstein district hospital.
