A three-month-old girl died of a gunshot wound in Fontainebleau, near Paris.
As broadcaster France Info reported, citing investigators, the father took the girl to hospital on Wednesday evening with a gunshot wound to the chest, where she later died. The man said he found his daughter injured when he returned home. His wife was not at home.

The police have arrested the 54-year-old. Investigators found the woman that night in a neighboring town near a riding school with two gunshot wounds to the chest. She was taken to a clinic with serious injuries. A gun was seized from the couple’s home. Police have yet to determine exactly what happened.
