Only by chance, on the national holiday around 8 a.m. in the Spittal an der Drau urban area, a police patrol was informed of the altercation between an Egyptian (30) and a Romanian (33).
The discussions about money escalated
The argument, which may have broken out over money for work, escalated when the Egyptian pulled out a Stanley knife and inflicted cuts on his opponent’s hands and left ear.
“He also threatened to kill him,” police said. Both were treated in hospital in Spittal, the 30-year-old attacker has been reported to the Public Prosecution Service for bodily harm and dangerous threats.
