After a moped accident on Sunday afternoon in Leoben (Styria), the police are looking for a driver who may have been involved. A 15-year-old was injured.
Shortly before 4:30 p.m., the 15-year-old from the Leoben district drove his moped from Zeltenschlagstrasse towards Proleb. It should be located at the intersection of Bahnhofsplatz/Südbahnstrasse having been overtaken by a white BMW with a BM license plate.
Severe pain: 15 year old called parents
Due to the BMW driver’s abrupt driving style, the 15-year-old fell immediately after the intersection and behind the car. The teenager got up himself, but because of his severe pain he then informed his parents.
Passersby and police patrols provided first aid
After initial medical care from a Red Cross emergency doctor, the young Styrian was taken to the LKH Hochsteiermark in Leoben. From there the C17 doctor helicopter flew him to the LKH Graz. According to police, nothing is currently known about the severity of his injuries.
According to the 15-year-old, there was in any case no contact with the driver of the car, who was apparently the second driver involved.
The police are now looking for witnesses to the accident or the driver of the white BMW to clarify the facts. Then call 059133/66-4444.
