Brutal robbery at a gas station in Graz: In the early hours of Friday, an unknown perpetrator attacked a gas station on the Eggenberger Gurtel. There was a scuffle with the seller, the 50-year-old was injured, probably by a knife. The assailant stole money and fled. Police are asking the public for information.
At around 3:30 a.m., the masked perpetrator entered the gas station at the Eggenberger Gurtel and demanded money from the 50-year-old employee. When the man got behind the counter, the employee tried to defend himself with pepper spray. A scuffle ensued, in which the perpetrator injured the woman on the thigh with a sharp object, probably a knife.
The man forced the woman to open the till and took money out of it. With that he fled to the north. The gas station employee was taken to hospital, but was discharged after outpatient treatment.
The police are now looking for the perpetrator and are asking the public for information about his identity. Notes for: 059133/60 3333
Description of the perpetrator:
Male, probably dark skinned, 1.70 to 1.80 m tall, strong, muscular. The man was masked with a white FFP2 mask and was wearing a dark hooded sweater (white text on the back: “BLK.SQD NYC/MCMXCII CO.”), as well as a black baseball cap and black sweatpants and white sneakers. He spoke German with an unfamiliar accent. The assailant is armed with a pointed object, probably a knife.
