On Wednesday evening, two unknown people in front of the toilet at the train station in Gmunden each wielded a weapon, probably blank pistols. Then one of them pointed the gun at people.
At a gas station not far from the train station, two passers-by – a 60-year-old from Frankenburg am Hausruck and a 49-year-old from Gmunden – were threatened. The perpetrator pointed the gun at her and fired several shots in her direction. The unknown man then ran away in the direction of Bahnhofsstrasse. No one was injured.
The police are asking for information
