The last generation of climate stickers protested again in Tyrol on Saturday! Just like in June, the activists again blocked the A13 Brenner, causing a traffic jam that stretched for miles. The requirements are known.
“Sticker protest on the Brenner highway to once again point out the government’s negligent inaction in the climate catastrophe,” says the “Last Generation” Facebook page. Several climate activists caused a blockade on the A13 on Saturday morning. At Matrei-Steinach they paralyzed traffic towards Italy with a sit-in blockade.
“Even the simplest demands, such as a ban on advertising for products that are particularly harmful to the climate or a ban on the destruction of food, are still ignored by the government,” complains spokeswoman Marina Hagen-Canaval (27).
“For me, peaceful civil resistance is a more than legitimate means of putting pressure on the government. People are already dying all over the world because our government too easily introduces baby measures, such as a ban on the destruction of new goods,” emphasizes the business information scientist and announces a major protest in Vienna on November 20.
