Threatened with a gun – man with a gun forced employees to open the safe

Two supermarket employees were seriously shocked in St. Pölten on Saturday: they were the victims of a robbery!

The first customer in the supermarket on a weekend shopping day was an armed criminal! Because the man suddenly appeared around 7 a.m. – fifteen minutes before opening – through a back entrance in the otherwise very busy branch near Traisenpark and threatened the surprised saleswoman with a gun. “Raid. Open the safe immediately. ‘Give me the money,’ the man shouted at the completely shocked Billa employee in her office. She indicated that she had to find a colleague first.

With shaking hands, the woman dialed the combination on the safe. When he jumped up, the disappointment was probably great. Because there wasn’t much cash in it on Saturday shopping morning.

The National Investigation Agency is investigating
A few minutes after the victims received an emergency call, the police started an alarm search. A helicopter also took off. The well-stocked branch was opened in emergency mode after work at the crime scene. Monday is the normal opening.

The wanted man was between 1.85 and 1.90 meters tall and slim. Information was requested from the State Criminal Investigation Department (tel.: 059133-30-3333).
