During a somewhat botched emergency landing, a small plane overshot the runway in the US state of Texas and collided with a car driving along the road. Fortunately, the spectacular accident ended slightly.
Video footage from an eyewitness (see video above) shows the single-engine plane breaking through a fence adjacent to the Aero Country Airport in the town of McKinney near Dallas, losing a wheel on its landing gear and crashing into a silver car, arriving at comes to a standstill.
The driver of the car was taken to hospital with minor injuries. The occupants of the propeller plane were said to have been unharmed in the incident on Saturday, local news channel WFAA-TV reported.
The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has already launched an investigation into the accident.
