During an RSa letter delivery for various offenses in the municipality of Techelsberg, a scuffle and a pepper spray attack took place between police officers and a married couple.
The 51-year-old man from the Klagenfurt district tried to escape the threat of arrest on Tuesday afternoon after the letter was delivered and got into a fight with the officers who intervened.
The woman (51) then intervened and sprayed pepper spray in the face of a police officer. The woman then fled into the house and barricaded herself, but that did not help.
Eventually, the police managed to arrest the couple and take them to the police station for questioning.
Policewoman injured
The 32-year-old police officer was injured by the pepper spray attack and had to be taken to Klagenfurt hospital by ambulance. After the investigation is completed, the two suspects will be released. A temporary weapons ban was issued against both.
