Slogans on the scaffolding, barricaded entrance, but no access to the house: the residents of the oligarch building in Burgau am Attersee (Salzburg) are allowed free rein.
The occupation of the villa in Burgau am Attersee lasted only a few hours on Saturday, the “Krone” reports. Ten activists had occupied the property, which has been attributed to Russian oligarch and ex-Deputy Prime Minister Igor Shuvalov, in the morning. They barricaded the driveway and posted messages on the scaffolding. For this they used a rowboat and sailed on the Attersee. The activists may have entered the property through an opening for construction work. The occupiers did not even enter the villa itself because it was locked.
Five flights, five personal details recorded
During the occupation, the police were only on site with two patrol cars and a van of the riot police. Just after 4pm, the ghost was over. Five activists managed to flee from the police and the personal details of another five were recorded.
Is there an infringement procedure?
Conclusion of the operation: No ads, no arrests. In contrast to the occupation of Marcel Hirscher’s house. This time it also involved material damage. Only an action for trespassing by the owner is still possible. But does he dare to come out of his cover?
