A 15-year-old allegedly attacked a homeless man in Darmstadt so brutally that he died from his serious injuries. The boy was arrested at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and robbery.
According to the report, he and his 18-year-old brother attacked the 57-year-old in a waiting room near Luisenplatz on Wednesday evening and stole the man’s wallet.
Duo was arrested on the spot
Afterwards, the 15-year-old allegedly seriously injured the homeless man with numerous punches and kicks. Like his brother, he was arrested on the spot. The victim was taken to hospital, but the injuries were too serious. The man died on Thursday evening.
The 18-year-old was released after the crime. His involvement in the fatal attack cannot be proven with the necessary certainty.
