A major fire on a farm in St. Johann am Wimberg (Upper Austria) has been keeping 14 fire brigades busy since Monday morning. The exact cause of the fire is still unclear at this time.
The fire probably started in the hayloft and spread to the entire service wing within a very short time. At 10:22 AM, the emergency services were alerted and alarm level 3 was activated. A total of 14 fire brigades went out to extinguish the fire.

Conditions on the spot were difficult. Lines were drawn. The fire water had to be fetched from about a kilometer away. By joining forces, it was finally possible to prevent the fire from spreading to the living quarters. Fortunately, no one was injured and the cause of the fire has not yet been determined.
