“The focus is on the Arlberg area, but the whole of Tyrol will get a lot of snow,” the expert predicts. He expects five to ten centimeters for Innsbruck on Saturday and a blanket of snow of this magnitude should last until after the weekend.

A new pack of snow on Monday
“We expect the next low point on Monday, again with lots of snow throughout Tyrol and into the valley areas,” says the meteorologist. Once again, the Arlberg will have to deal with the heaviest snow, with up to two meters of fresh snow from Friday to Monday. From Tuesday it will be winter again and temperatures will rise.
