Police are looking for an unknown man suspected of having committed several robberies this year. The suspect always targeted the same supermarket chain. Mug photos should now help find the man.
According to the police, the last serious robbery took place on October 10 around 8 p.m. in Vienna-Meidling on Oswaldgasse. The suspect allegedly threatened two employees of a discount supermarket with a gun and ordered them to lie on the ground.
He then tied her up with cable ties. He is said to have fled with the daily solution he had obtained.
Not the first robbery
Detectives assume that the suspect is also the perpetrator who committed serious robberies in February and July of this year. It has not yet been clarified why the man always chose the same supermarket chain.
The man armed with a firearm was able to steal cash again during his robberies. He is also said to have tied up employees during all his actions.
The perpetrator could be a glasses wearer
Mugshots show that the suspect was wearing light blue jeans, a dark top (vest), a dark baseball cap and white Nike sneakers at the time of the last crime. It is believed that he wears glasses.
