A church in Vienna has again fallen victim to vandalism. This time a 29-year-old rioted in a church in Favoriten and took with him a wooden cross.
According to police, the suspect allegedly entered the church on Keplerplatz and broke down a statue of the Madonna from an anchor and stole a wooden cross.

Fortunately, thanks to witness statements and video surveillance, the 29-year-old was arrested a short time later and temporarily detained. He was generally reported.
Cross was brought back
During the investigation, officers were able to determine that the stolen wooden cross had been returned to the church by an unknown woman.
