Painful incident in the community of Steinfeld in Spittal an der Drau: a pensioner was attacked and injured by her neighbor’s dog.
An 83-year-old wanted to make her neighbor happy with fresh meat in her luggage. The pensioner opened the gate, entered the building and walked to the front door without suspecting anything bad. Shortly before, she passed the doghouse, where she was suddenly attacked.
Complaint against dog owners
The neighbor’s hunting dog, to whom the woman was no stranger, attacked the woman and bit her left forearm. The animal owner immediately intervened, provided first aid and took the bite victim to the hospital in Spittal an der Drau. The hunting dog was not on a leash and was not wearing a muzzle. The owner has filed a report.
