EH Bildu records a complete change to the Basque budgets and changes worth 360 million euros

EH Bildu has announced that it will submit a full amendment and 61 partial amendments, amounting to more than 360 million euros, to the Basque government’s draft budget for 2024, as this document “does not respond to the change in the cycle.”

“Today no one doubts that we are in a cycle change and for that reason The budgets must be budgets for a change in the cycle, because they should serve to make a qualitative leap and reorganize public policy,” he noted.

Kortajaarna has denounced that the Basque government nevertheless “intends to continue doing what it always does with some budgets without ambitionwhile a whole host of structural problems are piling up, with Osakidetza being the most obvious example.” ‘The answer that the PNV and the PSE-EE propose through their budgets is the same as always, a superficial answer that does not get to the heart of the matter. of those problems and therefore leaves them unresolved at the root,” he criticized.

For all these reasons, the coalition has decided to submit a full amendment, as well as 61 partial amendments worth 181 million euros and three other amendments to the articles that would allow to mobilize as many millions as possible from the remaining budget.
