A 37-year-old man from St.Veit/Glan was driving his car on the Klagenfurt highway S37 from Klagenfurt towards Friesach on Wednesday evening. At Maria Saal, his vehicle veered off the right side of the road for an unknown reason and collided with the guardrail.
The car then rolled over several times and came to a stop on its wheels after approximately 100 meters in the direction of Friesach.
The man suffered injuries of an undetermined nature and was taken by ambulance to the Klagenfurt clinic after first aid. During the rescue and clearing work, the highway in the area had to be closed briefly in both directions several times. There was significant damage to the vehicle.
