This is the largest public offer of work in the history of the General State Administration.
The Council of Ministers on Tuesday approved a public job offer of 44,787 places in 2022. It is the largest public job offer in history that “reflects the government’s will to ensure that public administrations have the necessary material resources and bet on a qualified, efficient and committed workforce to strengthen the public sector”, as announced at a press conference by the Minister of Finance and Public Administration, María Jesús Montero.
According to the minister, it means a doubling of the number of places offered in 2017, the last being promoted by the government of Mariano Rajoy (PP) and in which 23,300 vacancies were put out to tender.
