230,000 people from Burgenland buy Christmas presents
It’s not about what’s under the Christmas tree, it’s about who is around it. But the residents of Burgenland do not want to do without the Christkindl, even in times of enormous inflation. The share of Burgenlanders who buy a gift for Christmas has remained virtually the same compared to the previous year. Current research by the Chamber of Commerce shows that 88 percent – 230,000 people in absolute figures – plan to buy Christmas presents this year.
