The enormous snowfall in parts of Tyrol on Saturday still had its consequences on Sunday. Several communities are not accessible by road. The reason for this is, among other things, the risk of falling trees.
“Due to the danger of falling trees, the L 266 Bschlaber Landesstraße is closed in both directions. Accordingly, the community of Pfafflar and the hamlets of Bschlabs and Boden are temporarily inaccessible by road,” the state said in a broadcast on Sunday afternoon. Also temporarily inaccessible by road are Unterberg, Großvolderberg and Volderwildbad (municipality of Volders) and the municipality of Gramais.
Gries am Brenner can be reached via Nösslacher Straße
“An access road via Nösslacher Straße was created for the municipality of Gries am Brenner. The B 182 Brenner Straße remains closed.” After the cleaning work, the B 169 Zillertal Straße was opened to traffic again. “The Ginzling district (municipality of Mayrhofen) can now be reached by road again,” the state concluded.
