On Monday evening, police officers at Vienna’s Westbahnhof train station became aware of a 35-year-old seriously injured man after hearing loud screams. There is currently no trace of the suspects.
The 35-year-old was leaning against a wall with deep stab wounds in his thigh when he was discovered by officers. According to police, he was previously attacked with multiple stab wounds and robbed by strangers. Shortly afterwards, the suspects fled with their mobile phones and medicines.
Investigations are underway
After police provided first aid, the injured man was taken to hospital. An immediate search was negative. The investigation into the case continues at full speed.
