The 21-year-old was driving through the valley as a delivery driver on the municipal road at the Nußdorfer Berg in Nußdorf-Debant when the accident occurred. According to police, their van skidded and drove uncontrollably toward a slope. The young Austrian managed to jump out of the slider before it fell down the slope.
The vehicle then became stuck in bushes and trees several meters below the road.
