The Pramtalteufel has been wild since the Perchtenlauf on Friday in St. Martin im Innkreis (Upper Austria). The reason: one of her elaborately designed masks – she received it as a gift in 2009 – seemed to have been swallowed up by the earth after the flight.
After the event, the mask – with the engravings “Pramtalteufel” and “Kravi Ocas Pass” – was placed in a bush behind the music school. There it must cool down after previously being lit.
Weighing eight kilos
But when the Pramtal devils wanted to pack their things a little later, the mask, which weighed eight kilos, had disappeared. The Perchten group suspects a common theft.
Call on Facebook
The members are now looking for the mask on Facebook and making a promise: “If you have the mask, you can write to us or hand it in anonymously at the Hofwirt in St. Martin. If she finds her way back to our club, we will refrain from filing a complaint,” they wrote.
“Most important mask”
Pramtalteufel’s post was shared more than 3,000 times on Sunday. “This is our most important mask, it is our trademark,” hopes Philipp Schachinger of the Pramtalteufel.
