A German couple fought a war of the roses in their holiday home in Kitzbühel, the book says. He would once have hit her in the eye in the approximately 50 square meter bedroom: “I always covered that with make-up,” said the woman in the courtroom.
In addition to the blow, the man allegedly attacked his wife with an iron bar and threatened her that he would kill her. He claims that she accused him of finding cocaine and prostitutes in the chalet – of course that is not true as he has no interest in such things. “She tried to provoke me and hoped for a strong response from me,” said the suspect.
Defendant alleges woman is ‘sick’
He talks about the worst abuse in his wife’s parental home and infers her ‘illness’ from this: ‘All these conflicts have a kernel of truth about which she makes up something. That’s her clinical picture.” So she went to the therapist, but stopped the treatment.
The woman says: “He scolded my parents’ house and said, among other things, that my father raped me. That is of course not true.” According to the woman, both were in therapy: first in couples therapy, then in individual therapy.
Not the first acquittal
The suspect is eventually acquitted. Explanation: “Sometimes something must have gone wrong with you. But there is no assurance that you have committed the crimes.”
Incidentally, there was already a similar procedure in Switzerland. Allegation at the time: he would have locked her in the basement. There was also an acquittal.
