Another case of serious bodily injury during a Krampus run was reported in Tyrol. In the winter sports resort of Ischgl, an unknown ‘devil’ attacked a security guard and seriously injured her. The police now hope to track down the perpetrator based on information from witnesses.
The serious incident took place last Tuesday, but police only made it public on Monday. The 41-year-old security worker was in the area around 9:30 p.m Dorfstrasse/Silvrettastrasse attacked by a Krampus near a sports shop.

„The woman was thrown over her shoulder to the ground by the Krampus and was seriously injured in the shoulder,” the director said. The disguised perpetrator then ran away. So far there is no trace of him.
The police are hoping for information from witnesses
Police investigators are now hoping for the public’s help. According to the victim, the perpetrator was apparently wearing one cheerfully painted wooden mask without horns. No further details are known.
