Several thousand people demonstrated in Bilbao this Friday to demand that employers unblock negotiations and that the Ministry of Education intervene in the conflict.
The Social Initiative’s education centers in the Basque Country employ almost 9,000 employees in more than 200 centers and serve approximately 120,000 male and female students.
The five days of strikes declared from December 11 to 15, like the other four previously held, had broad support of between 65 and 70%, according to the unions.
