The child had waited in the car until his mother returned from an appointment. The whole thing dragged on and the primary school student urgently had to go to a quiet place. When he couldn’t stand it anymore, he got out and relieved himself in the bushes next to the car.
The police officer also threatened the mother with charges
A police officer saw this and took the boy to the station for causing a nuisance – in the presence of the returning mother. “I told the officer there was no public toilet anywhere. The man then said that I was also threatened with charges for violating my supervisory duties.”
When the local press reported on the case, there was a storm of indignation among citizens against the police. The police officer responsible was fired. The incredible thing: the prosecutor refused to withdraw the complaint. The judge also did not dismiss the lawsuit: he imposed a suspended sentence on the child.
