Bumped into cars – another accident in Vienna: man taken to shock room


Less than a day after the dramatic accident on the S2 in Vienna – two people were killed, the life of the third victim is in danger – a second serious accident has already occurred in the federal capital. This time too, a young driver was at the wheel. He was immediately taken to the trauma room after the crash.

The serious accident took place on Monday night around 1 a.m. in Liesing. A 22-year-old driver lost control of his vehicle and crashed into several parked cars.

Serious injuries to head and chest
The young man, who was traveling alone, suffered serious injuries to his head and chest in the accident on Großmarktstrasse, reports Daniel Steiner, spokesman for the Vienna Professional Rescue Service. After initial treatment, the victim was taken to a hospital trauma room.

Two traffic fatalities in Vienna on Sunday
A terrible accident took place in Vienna early on Sunday morning. Two boys aged 18 and 17 died on the S2. The 18-year-old driver crashed into a concrete barrier at too high speed.

The vehicle immediately caught fire. Another passenger – a boy aged just 16 – was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. So far, police have not been able to release any new details about the third crash victim.
