Shock for passengers: truck cuts into Wiener Linien bus

Date:

It could have turned out differently: On Monday around 2 p.m., an accident occurred between a truck and line 60A in Vienna-Liesing. The truck’s load tore the bus open. Fortunately, none of the passengers were injured.

The collision between the two vehicles probably took place when they turned at the intersection at Perchtoldsdorfer Straße – right on the corner of the magistrate’s court. The bus collided with the truck driving in front of it. As photos from one of our ‘Krone’ reader reporters show, a window of the 60A was cut open as a result of the impact.

Emergency services attended the scene, but fortunately no one was injured. The passengers were shocked. Only the bus suffered significant damage.
